Our Philosophy
We have four principles for smart marketing.
It must be collaborative. Even the savviest marketing program will fall flat on its face if the people who must implement it don’t help create it.
It must be authentic. We won’t let you “tell the world” anything but the truth. We’ll just help you tell it in a powerful way.
It must be simple. The best marketing is profound in its simplicity.
It must be effective. It may also be provocative, or beautiful, or entertaining. But without effectiveness, everything else is self-indulgence.
We’re also creative. But creativity isn’t the point.

Our History
Libby Turner (right) and Donna Bowling (left) began the agency in 1994 to create recruitment campaigns for colleges and universities. Hence the name “Mindpower,” which just seemed to fit the higher education market.
Over the years, we tested our mindpower in areas beyond the realm of education. We created campaigns for restaurants, dentists, even a doggie day care. And before long, we found our niche.
Today, Mindpower specializes in the areas of “Health, Wealth, and Wisdom,” although we’ve been known to undertake any project that particularly intrigues us.
Officially, we’re Mindpower Inc.
Informally, we’re just Mindpower. And we are fairly informal. Most of us reserve pinstripes and pantyhose for special occasions. You see, we want to be judged by our work, not our wardrobe.
Here you won’t find smooth talkers with titles like Account Executive or Senior Consultant. Just down-to-earth people with an out-of-this-world genius for spinning “strategic straw” into “creative gold.” We love to bring ideas – sometimes kicking and screaming – to life.
Our goal, ultimately, is to work with clients who aren’t afraid to think. Why? We want to help you unleash your own mindpower.
