There is no way around this hard fact: most kids hate math. (Heck, it still even makes some parents gag.)
But a general distaste for math and science puts too many Georgia students at a competitive disadvantage in school and beyond. Our work for PRISM, funded by the National Science Foundation, aimed at getting more kids to take more math and science courses.
With the power of education and the support of parents, there’s nothing in the world our kids can’t conquer. This was the only math and science campaign in the nation with a public awareness component.
Finish your broccoli. Brush your teeth. Take math and science. Some things, you just have to do because they’ll pay off in the long run. For parents, we created study guides to help parents help their kids.

Kids can't learn to love math and science without great teachers. Our teacher recruitment materials targeted both college education majors and career-changers, encouraging them to take on math and science specialties.
