The developer’s challenge: Take a turn-of-the-century building. Transform it into lofts. And sell them quickly in Atlanta’s overcrowded loft market. We helped by creating an identity reminiscent of the loft’s former life as an
A&P bakery.
Photography highlighted original architectural details, light streaming through industrial windows, and large, open spaces. The idea was to showcase the lofts’ authenticity to buyers looking for a “real” loft amid all the new construction in the neighborhood.
Beyond the usual marketing ideas – newspaper ads, signage, brochures, etc. – we suggested stocking the sales center with fresh-baked bread so the aroma would connect A&P lofts to the building’s past as a bakery.
Once real estate agents visited the website, it was easy to entice them to visit the property. That led to a lot of sales. Thirty of the building's 60 units sold in the first three months, 50 percent ahead of sales goal.
